The Dubai crude oil price rose 3.17 US dollars to 75.97 US dollars per barrel.
In Singapore, finished oil for benzene 95 went up 2.43 US dollars to 90.03 US dollars a barrel, while diesel price jumped 4.10 dollars to 83.97 dollars a barrel.
The price surge has caused the market margin for oil to stay at around 1 baht per liter.
Wittaya said oil prices in overseas markets will remain volatile in the short-run due to a balance in positive and negative momentum in the market.
