Arrest Warrants Issued for Fugitive PM and His Wife

Arrest warrants for the fugitive premier and his wife have been issued. The police are assigned to bring the two suspects in for prosecution. The legal case has a statute of limitations of 15 years.

Today, the Police Criminal Record Division has received arrest warrants for former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra and his wife Pojaman Shinawatra, issued by the Supreme Court's Division for Political Office Holders.

The defendants are accused of negligence as political office holders for holding interest in a company that had gained concession from the state and neglecting to perform their duties while acting as government authorities.

The duration of the statute of limitations for the case is 15 years, bringing it to August 12th, 2023.

The police will arrest the two if their place of residence is identified.
