| PAD Disagrees with Formation of Another Proxy Government |

The core People's Alliance for Democracy leaders held a press conference approximately at noon today to announce their disagreement to the formation of what the PAD believe will be another proxy government of former premier Thaksin Shinawatra.
However the core leaders stopped short of saying the PAD will take to the streets again if a representative of the Phue Thai party is appointed as the new premier. But the leaders did reiterate the PAD's role as a watchdog organisation.
They also expressed their disagreement with the possibility of Phue Thai members being allowed to join the new government coalition.
